As I was about to upload a new list to create a custom audience to begin running ads to, I ran across that Facebook made an update to their ad platform which requires your ad account to be under a Business Manager account.  I had been hearing that this change was coming but it’s finally here.

So if you have plans on uploading a list of customers from your CRM or other lists to Facebook to create Custom Audience to target or create Look-A-Like audiences, don’t be alarmed.  It’s quite simple to do.  You can get your business manager account FREE by going to (https://business.facebook.com/).

I decided to shoot a really quick video to show you what you may see and how easy it is to get set up and get going with your day.  Facebook is constantly changing and you have to make sure that you keep up with their changes and changes in policy to stay in their good graces as Marketers and Advertisers.

I have used Lead Ads in the past and they have worked well for many of the campaigns we have run at EXECUTABLE LLC.  If you have the correct lead magnet, you can reduce your cost per lead.  I prefer to use a landing page that I create because of the flexibility it gives me, but you have to love the fact that you can at least have the lead’s Name and Email already pre-filled, the form loads fast, and most leads will be ok with passing on their information because they have already provided a lot of information anyway.  Now that you can do this on Instagram, this would be great for companies that do well on Instagram like photographers, weight loss and training, and other businesses.
